IQQU skin care line.

Ricebunny's website is finally up. Yeah, not surprised it's expensive. Her products will become popular because of the whole designer/brand crap. Yes I was interested in buying but I'm doing my own research. I don't think something that small should be worth $40+ I have this feeling it won't work and that people will jump on the "this stuff is amazing!!" bandwagon.. I really don't believe a product can be universal and effective esp. for acne. People asked her questions but she's been avoiding them and mine. She has many watchers, but not a lot that comment.

I really don't know if I should trust reviews on these products. :/

Are you pre-ordering? Interested?

Edit:

While this is an old post, I don't mind new comments. I still read it!

Wow holy shit her IQQU brand is expensive. Her sunscreen is literally a few dollars less than the Shiseido sunscreen, and the Shiseido one looks bigger.

I'm sure she is too busy to comment that is why people's questions are unanswered, but good lord her products are $$$$

look at the makeup alley reviews... horrible reviews... shitty product for a BIG price - she is just taking advantage of the fact that her 'fans' will buy anything she pushes (which is true)

I was one of the unfortunate ones who bought her sunscreen. I put the creme on before the beach than went to cpk for dinner. After I got home and took a shower and looked in the mirror i noticed that the area where i had applied the creme had a dark red complexion. It had cleared up but took about a week to do so. I hear there is a lawsuit pending but I will not be a part of that since my blemish has since cleared up.

Of course she would take advantage of that. I don't trust her. She doesn't have experience with that crap and I don't believe the people that supposedly made it.. knew what they were doing. IF there was other people involved. Most posts I've read about that acne serum.. always have a horrible chemical burn reaction. I would rather buy Shiseido products.

I have the IQQU Acne Serum and Sunscreen. The sunscreen is unstable and leaves a white finish that is similar to BECCA SPF 30 + Mineral Primer and Chanel SPF 50 sunscreen.

The instability does not mean that it has no UVA/UVB protection, it's just that the sun protection is limited in its timeframe and you need to reapply it.

I like the acne serum, it has brightened my skin tone and evened it out, and has helped cleared up my acne-prone skin.

I think that if you haven't purchased and tested out Michelle Phan's products, you aren't in a position to judge her products, regardless of her YouTube status or the fact that she is an Art major.

Also, on closer inspection of MUA reviews, some of the reviews are made by people who have not tested out the products. I don't think it's fair to judge the products without testing them. Skincare works differently on different people.

TLDR: The sunscreen sucks, but the Acne Serum is good.

i dun believe a 22 years old art student will have the knowledge or expertise of skincare

Alan, I actually just read the reviews on MUA and they mentioned how their pores clogged up and they had breakouts FROM THE USE of IQQU products.

I bought both of her bestsellers - the sunscreen and the acne serum. I have pretty good skin that breaks out only very occasionally - after applying the sunscreen and acne serum - i had the biggest and nastiest looking zit ever on my nose. At first, I thought it was a coincidence, but after using it for a week, I continued to break out. My skin is still trying to recover from the abuse it took from the so called skin care.

I like Michelle and what she does, but girls, please stay away from her skin care line....

For a brand new line, their return policy is atrocious. Only refunds on unopened, unused products??? Helloooooo??? The only way to see if the product works is by opening and trying it! Why spend my money on a new questionable line when there are tons of reputable lines out there who are happy to refund my hard earned cash if my skin reacts poorly to it. None for me, thanks!

yeah she's art major not a dermatologist..she's so BS

I don't know how true is this but I heard that on the Iqqu website they won't post good comments and some of the comments had been modified. Someone said they tried to post a bad review after buying the product and the comment never turn up and another said the their comment was change to make the product sounds Amazing.

I was looking for IQQU reviews and landed on your site. Like many I agree she does amazing makeups but skeptical about her products. You don't have to be a dermatologist to have your skin line - you can hire someone or manufacturers to stick your label on products. Similar to perfumes with celebrity labels. The products are way too expensive with bad returning policy - how do I know something doesn't work without opening and trying it? If the price is more reasonable, I may give it a try.

There are people with good skin to begin with and they don't need anything to get that good skin. She's one of them. And there are people with bad skin no matter what they do they still ended up with bad skin. People have to learn not to believe what they see <-- this is hard and that's hy cosmetics spending millions hiring celebrities to be face of their products. She has such large fan base many will believe what she says.

I'm not bashing her and I love watching her videos. I just don't believe in her products.

I haven't actually tried any of her skin care products but i'm just here to clarify of what I know so far about that whole law suit against michelle phan. Apparently It was just some hater leaving bad reviews on her skin care line saying that it left scaring and burns on her face. So to my reccolection Michelle and her lawyer confronted her and found no abuse on her person and It turns out that she was underaged, and begged michelle not to tell her parents!

I'm a little late here but after read all comments on many blogs,Michellephan lost the trusts from ppl for how fake she is and so many bad reviews on IQQU .And i heard that her skincare line is not FDA approved and doesn't have US business registration.I wonder if she dare doing fraud business like that?I don't like to watch her new vids because she look and act weird now,it's like a commercial to sell herself and her products.I don't want to sound like haters but i have to agree with many negative comments about her.I hope she won't get in trouble with fraud business if she doesn't pay saletax.Anyone knows?I heard that she she stop taking order on IQQU,is it true?

I like michelle very much, I have never tried her product, and I don't plan to try any of them. but I don't think she needs to be a dermatologist to have a skincare line, she could simply hire someone with right degree and experience. the fact that her brand is not FDA approved is nothing against her, as a matter of fact, all cosmetics are non-FDA-Approved. only medication with proven medical effect needs FDA to evaluate and label them. in one of the video Michelle made after the debut of her brand, I actually saw her skin looked significantly worse than in her previous vids. many of the viewers also noticed it, and suggested she shouldn't apply too much make up to worsen her skin. in my personal opinion (nothing against michelle, I like her vids all the same, as well as her soothing voice), this is proves her skincare line doesn't work.

She wants to move up to "celeb" level but i don't think she could get there before she falls behind other gurus who getting better and better than her. With how she's making viewers fed up with her attitude and how she's careless of how her works turn out because she expects ppl have to rave and praise her even on the most stupid and ugliest makeups and those messy pictures that Lancome posted to show all the flaws of her skin. She's too confident, stuck up and shows off as she's so famous now while ppl are complaining about her all over the blogs.I stop following her cuz she got lousy and boring as she's all into herself and how she's enjoying her money on so i won't put a dime into her extremely luxury life and throw it back on my face! What if everyone unsubscribe on her, will she be able to behave that way?

I really like what she is, actually was doing with make up, but laltely, I have a feeling she is doing very basic stuff, no more artistic videos like before...And as for the products, I don`t know how they work, because I haven`t tried them, but they are way to expensive....

She doesn't respond to bad result customers, she got all the money from robbing us!Those shits from Thailand costs $3 dollars the most and she sold to us more expensive than Chanel for those little tubes. She should be report to Better Business Beaureau to protest young viewers from being cheated by her fraud business, though!

How in the world she could afford that luxury life just being popular from youtube in a short time, she need to be question for all knid of money she spends that only very rich ppl can afford.I don't know how she can seel Lancome with this kind of fraud business on her own products,LOL.

Her products are too expensive for being made in Thailand, the place that produce cheapeast cosmetic products. She cheated us by fraud advertisement, this is a crime. If i have enough power from many other victims to report this fraud on her,i would join them to keep her from fooling ppl to by bad stuffs to get rich and ignored buyers who suffered bad results.

We should let everyone know about this fraud. Her skincare line is way too expensive comparing with those prestigious brands out there.

honestly iqqu is overpriced. I did however purchase the acne serum, which yielded little to no result, and the rice scrub. I absolutely love the jasmine rice scrub and it does sort of tighten your face after each wash. But besides the smell and the fact that you are inclined to wash your face more often because of the addictive smell, theres nothing really special about the product. Would I buy them again? Probably not unless the scrub is sold for a cheaper price.

My name is Nitin from Toronto. I am interested in your writing. Some of your posting are good, I can say, best. Can you please tell me how to subscribe to your blog post online?

Just so you guys know... her products are not FDA approved.

Acne Scrub was the only item tested by the FDA and it's been listed as not safe and effective. The two sunscreens were never tested and the rice scrub was never submitted.

She committed fraud, in my opinion, when she posted on her Facebook account that the products were FDA approved and she'll put the FDA approval logo on the packaging.

I don't know guys, looks like shit hit the fan with Michelle and IQQU.

"All of us at iQQU would like to take this opportunity to express our appreciation to every single one of our customers and supporters.
We kindly request that you continue to give us your valuble comments, suggestions, and even criticisms. With your honest feedback,
iQQU will continue to improve its product quality and service standards. iQQU aims to exceed our customers' needs and expectations.

As we enter a new year, iQQU will take a different, unbiased approach to promote the brand. In the beginning, we adopted the same idea as most companies, that is, to have an individual who represented and endorsed the brand. It is clear and obvious to us that this idea may be an idea of the past. We have overlooked the fact that iQQU has always been well represented because thousands of our valued customers have tried and continued to use our products. In the past few months, we have shared with Michelle Phan the idea of an unbiased approach to promote iQQU. Hence, Michelle's presence to showcase iQQU has been reduced.

To support our new direction, iQQU's website is presently being redesigned to represent what we want to achieve. The new website will be current, more informative, and more user friendly. Last but not least, we are really excited to be developing and producing some new iQQU products to offer our customers a wider selection. Once again, thank you all for your great support and "keep on living young".

Sincerely,
The iQQU Team "

They are clearly apologizing for their shady business deals, bias commentary ie) not publishing negative reviews/modifying reviews. Along with regretting having MP as their spokes person. If nothing actually went down, and it was only some pint sized hater making up stories, I doubt they would drop a spokes person with such a huge fan base. Plus she was going around saying that the products were FDA approved when they weren't which is fraud, and there is plenty of evidence of that.

Personally I'm really shocked to find this out, I never would have taken her as someone who would partake in such behavior. I don't usually watch her videos, but sometimes they catch my eye. I neither love her, or hate her, I'm simply shocked, and yet interested to see how this will go down lol.

report a fraud said...

Please help report her for this fraud business, I don't know how to, but it's not fair for her to deny that she no longer owns iQQU then never answer any question about iQQU again, she was just advertised it that it's her own skincare line and swore up and down that it's US FDA approved but right after ppl found out that she lied and called her out, she denied everything and erase all evidenses on her websit that stated she is a businee woman who owns iQQQ brand. Nobody should be all OK after sold so many fraud products to young girls.
